Each month members prepare a summary of up to two pages, on the life of a famous public figure – past or present: each member chooses who they wish to write about. They then read these out in our sessions and we discuss them. Some of the figures we have already featured have been Montgomery, Freud, Dahl, Castro, Gorbachev, Einstein, Kenneth Allsop, Enver Hoxha, Thomas Masterman Hardy, Pope Pius XII, Mary Mallon, Mendel and John Reith.
