We are a small group having a modest mix of musical experience, some guitar, some piano, some choral, and we want to learn more about how it all works. Our thoughts are guided by a local choral composer and jazz-guitarist but we can all contribute from our own experience. Thoughts include "what do all these black dots and squiggles mean?", "what's the difference between major and minor?", "why do chords progress?", "why do thirds need to resolve?"
