Welcome to our 2026 online exhibition

The two Acrylics for Beginners groups were formed in November 2024, some members had last painted when they at school others had dabbled over the years.

The group Leader Carole is a working artist and photographer who provides tuition, guidance plus inspiration when needed!

Working through the basics of colour theory, perspective and colour mixing to name a few we tried various themes and approaches and the artists have developed their individual style and produced some interesting work.

During recent months there was discussion (well mostly Carole saying, ‘we will put that in the exhibition”) that we asked the Bridport U3A webmaster John Tassell to build an online exhibition. Huge thanks to John for his work.
