Andrew was in Her Majesty’s Submarine Service for 27 years, first on diesel boats and later on nuclear power vessels. He joined the service in 1985 and left in 2012. He is still working on boats in his current employment. He is a town councillor as well. The talk also gives a history of the sub from Alexander the Great and how we build them.
