Dr James Taylor will talk about first voyage of HMS Beagle when Fitzroy became Captain. This led to the second and famous expedition in 1831. This was the global voyage on which Charles Darwin sailed as naturalist and began collecting evidence for his publication 'The Origin of Species'.
