We visit local enterprises to see what they do and how they do it. Visits have included wood, metal and plastic engineers, glass workers, net makers, fish, tea, wine, cider, cake and cheese producers, printers, weavers, a stone mine, boat builders, a farm, the Houses of Parliament, water works, anaerobic digesters, a waste recycling centre and, of course, a sewage farm. Members are encouraged to suggest places to visit and all ideas are very welcome. Members will love it even if you think it’s a daft idea.
