The group started in the days of Covid restrictions but, still using Zoom, continues as a convenient place to meet with other members on Mondays at 10.00am….for 30-60 minutes without having to travel. (You can tune in and then leave when you want to if you have other things to do). The chat is broad-ranging, covering subjects such as interesting things seen on TV, local events, good books, what to do with too many home-grown runner beans, the state of local transport, a member’s recent far-flung travel experience and which local pub cooks the best chips.
